D & S Transportation was founded in 1978 by Donald & Shirley Anweiler as a small business partner to Landstar's nationwide corporation. Don has served on the Landstar Image Council and in April, 2002, Don was inducted into the Chairman's Circle, which is the highest award an agent can receive from Landstar.		Landstar utilizes and develops technological systems that enable its extensive network of small business partners to successfully compete in today's tough transportation services market. Forbes magazine, in its January 10 issue, named Landstar "One of America's Best Big Companies."
