Driver orientation is one of the first steps on the road to success with Landstar. D & S is located in the Landstar central region office building which includes Conley Phelps, Orientation Coordinator for Landstar, who conducts classes Monday through Thursday. Drivers have access to computer terminals to look up their own freight, and a back lot large enough to provide parking.  In addition to new driver orientation, veteran BCOs can further their training at the Landstar central office. Veteran BCOs can take the Commentary Driving Training which cover the five keys to driving. After successful completion of this course drivers are automatically entered to win a new Freightliner. "This encourages drivers to come by and further their driving safety" says Conley.
